The power entrusted to us ...

Hey everyone!

It's been some time since my last Journal Entry so I decided to write one now.

A lot of things have happened since I first joined dA in May 2009.
And 2012 will definitely be a  year of changes for me as well. I'll get my drivers license and I will have to decide what I want to do after school. As well, I'll be turning 18 this year, which means I will officially be an adult. And being an adult is not easy if you're used to being a kid. I will have to take full responsibility for what I say, do and am. In return, people will treat me like a full member of our society and kids will look up to me and my actions. Of cause this won't happen overnight and I guess I still have a lot to learn until I'm ready to manage my life all by myself.
It's weird isn't it?
This turn of generations ...
From this year on and in the future it will not be our grandparents or parents running the countries and the world, but it will be us.
We're the next generation responsible for our world.
And we're the one to make a difference.
We're the ones who will be entrusted the power to change the world.
To make it a better place.
To make a difference.

It won't always be easy and although I might have to chose the toughest of all paths, although I might be all on my own at times with no one by my side and no one to hold my hand ... I will definitely use this power.
I will change the world.
