Description

This is Vordaan, an OC of mine I guess. I've always wondered why no-one has Manticore OCs ...

I sketched this in my calender during class, then decided to color it digitaly. There are some more pictures of Vordaan at my Colors! Gallery. Those have replays, if you're interested in seeing the progress.

I'm not a 100 percent happy with how this turned out, I could probably have kept on drawing but I decided not to.

Amazing job with the background I love the grass details as well as the shadows. You also did a great job with the trees. The drawing gives the feeling that he is sitting on top of a hill, relaxing, looking down at the world going by.
Need Work- The character itself needs so work and I’m sorry in advance if I’m too harsh. One of his legs looks broken and unnatural. I’m not sure if this was on purpose or not. Don’t be afraid to look for references. The image below looks similar to yours and you can get a feeling on how the legs were drawn.

Are those wings ? I’m sorry it’s a bit hard to see and hard to tell if they are wings and they are just tucked in, or they are Spikes? I hope the link below helps you.

All in all you did a great job with everything including the details on the trees/background, the shadows and even the details on his mane.
